Chad Jeffers

Therapist

Hello, I’m Chad Jeffers.  I’m originally from Ohio but have lived in Fort Lauderdale for the last 10 years.  I graduated from Kent State University and then volunteered in the Peace Corps  as a consultant for NGO’s.  Upon my return, I enrolled at NOVA Southeastern University.  I worked in construction while studying and eventually became responsible for the financing and management of large projects.   After realizing I wanted a change, I took the opportunity to fulfill my goal of becoming a licensed counselor and am now a therapist at RSL Counseling.  I am married to my wonderful husband of 6 years, who shares my passion for animals and water.  I can normally be found with my dogs or tending to my aquarium.  I enjoy boating and spending time on the water with friends and family.  I like to read and to listen to new music.  My hobbies include watch repair, painting, and bonsai trees to name a few.  For my self-care, I exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet.  I look forward to getting to know you better and working together.

Mara Liggett

I am specialized in trauma therapy and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I look foreword to supporting you on your journey toward a more fulfilling, healthy, and authentic life.

Joshua Santiago

My focus as a therapist has been helping clients challenge experienced traumas and working to find inner peace and healing. Treatment goals are focused on developing a better understanding of the self and role in society. Clients often come to treatment seeking stability and consistency in their journey and are open to a two-way dialogue regarding their needs. I can assist by providing individualized, trauma-informed treatment. I utilize cognitive processing therapy to help identify stuck points that interfere with day-to-day living. I offer a reflective listening style and will challenge my clients to think critically. My style is direct but warm and supportive. This is a judgment-free space focused on change. Reaching out for assistance or opening yourself up to someone can be really intimidating and bring a lot of worries. You are in control of your treatment, your growth, and your progress. My goal is help be a guide as you walk this path. You've got the keys and the wheel, I am here to point out what's coming up ahead.

I strongly believe that every person has within themselves the strength and resilience to overcome challenges; it is my continued honor to work alongside you and empower you with the tools and beliefs needed for positive change.  I bring authenticity and genuine concern to each session, ensuring that you feel heard, understood and validated.  I have experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transition, grief and loss among other diagnoses. The client/therapist alliance is an important one, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to evaluate comfort level.
