Teens Show Up as Themselves
Teens are often more direct, sharper, and more emotionally honest than adults give them credit for. The challenge isn't usually getting them to talk — it's giving them a confidential space with an adult who isn't a parent, who takes them seriously, and who doesn't try to fix them.

How We Work With Teens
Sessions are weekly and confidential — meaning what your teen shares stays in the room, with the legally required exceptions (immediate safety, abuse). We meet teens where they are: some sessions are deeply emotional, some are more conversational, some involve creative or somatic work. Teens lead the pace.
How We Work With Parents
You're a critical part of your teen's support, and we want to keep you informed without breaking your teen's trust. We typically have brief check-ins with parents at intervals — not on details, but on how things are going overall. We can also offer parent consultation as a separate piece of work.
For LGBTQ+ Teens
An affirming therapist can be lifesaving for LGBTQ+ youth. We provide a safe, identity-respecting space and have specific experience with coming out, gender exploration, family dynamics, and the unique mental health concerns that affect queer teens.
